Western Canada offers a breathtaking range of landscapes, best known for its lush evergreen forests, towering mountains, and crystal-clear lakes. It also offers dramatic badlands, textured rock formations, and sweeping sand dunes. This diversity creates perfect backdrops for creative exploration.

Join two talented models—Riley Jade and Ciara the Modeladventurer—as they merge with this Canadian nature, capturing beautiful images taken between moments of connection and adventure.

Meet Your Models

Riley Jade

Riley is an Australian native who has found her home in the Canadian Rockies. She has over 10 years of modelling experience with a strong background in dance, and is a passionate outdoor enthusiast.

Ciara

Ciara, the Model Adventurer has 10+ years of modelling experience over 20+ countries. You can find her work in the Guiness World Record Book, an art archive on the Moon, and most social media. She strives to bring adventure to every photoshoot.

4 DAYS IN THE MOUNTAINS

Canadian Rockies Locations June 2-5 2026

DAY 1 - Welcome to the Rockies
Pick up in Calgary by 2pm. Enjoy dinner in Banff with a sightseeing stop before settling into our cozy home base in Golden, BC.

DAY 2 - Lakes and Mountains
A scenic drive through breathtaking landscapes with multiple photo stops. Expect alpine lakes, dramatic peaks, and plenty of opportunities to capture the magic. This is a big drive day: 1.5 hours to the first location, after, each location is about 10 minutes away from eachother. Easy 5-10 minute hikes to each location.

DAY 3: River
Just a short drive away runs a dramatic river surrounded by picturesque rocks, forest, and mountains. A short walk from the car with a downward incline, and many large sturdy rocks for you to stand on and pick your angle.

DAY 4: Slot Canyon
We check out of Golden and head to this epic slot canyon. It’s about a 25 minute walk with a slight incline to reach the beginning of the best part. Expect rocky terrain. Light bouldering will unlock more options for the adventurous. Return to Calgary. Drop off in Calgary by 3pm.

ROCKIES ACCOMODATIONS

From June 2-5th, stay in a cosy airbnb settled on a Buffalo Ranch in Golden, BC surrounded by breathtaking Canadian landscapes. Towering mountains, lush evergreen forests, and glacier-fed lakes will be our backdrop. Enjoy your own private room and Queen sized bed with a shared bathroom.

BREAK IN CALGARY

June 5-6, 2026
On June 5th, we drop those who are only staying for the Rockies portion at the airport. We’ve rented an airbnb for us all to rest. We can spend the time resting in the Airbnb or out playing tourist in the library, zoo, heritage park, or other activities that Calgary has to offer. The next day, on June 6th, we pick up new participants at the airport and head to our next home base in the Badlands.

4 DAYS IN THE BADLANDS

June 6-9, 2026

DAY 1 - Welcome to the Badlands
Pick up in Calgary by 2pm. Enjoy dinner on route before settling into our cozy home base in Medicine Hat, AB

DAY 2 - Sand Dunes
A long drive of 1.5 hours and about a 25 minute easy hike will bring us to unique giant sand dunes to play with. You sink a bit with each step when climbing the sand dune, so it’s more effortful than a dirt trail. But the dunes aren’t overly tall, so most people can reach the top within a few minutes.

DAY 3: Red Rocks
After about 35 minutes of driving and a 5 minute easy walk, we reach these giant red boulders that look like they’ve fallen from the sky and cracked into several pieces.

DAY 4: Badlands
We check out of Medicine Hat and stop in at Dinosaur National Park - a unique landscape full of earth tones and rolling hills. Hiking on the paths is easy with some small inclines. Drop off at airport by 3pm.

ACCOMMODATIONS IN MEDICINE HAT

Admittedly, accommodations in Medicine Hat have less versatility and quirkiness as the Buffalo Ranch in Golden, but it does offer comfort and coziness. You will have your own private bedroom and a shared bathroom.

Rates

All rates include airport pick up and drop off, all meals (excluding alcohol), photography time with each model (solo and duo), pre-scouted locations and accommodation. There is a maximum of 4 photographers at any given moment.

$1000 needed for a deposit, refundable if cancellation notice is given by (insert date here)

BOTH ADVENTURES

We have a discounted rate if you join us for both the mountains and the Badlands. 6 days of shooting with 2 professional models + one night of accomodations/ rest in Calgary

PRIVATE SHOOTING

You can hire either model for 1-1 shooting time during this trip for $100 CAD/hour. Locations to be discussed. Only 2 hours available per day for private shooting.

$100 CAD/hr

Add a non-photographer partner to share your bedroom with you for a flat rate of $1000 CAD for the full trip. This rate helps cover the extra transportation and food. They are more than welcome to join us for our excursions, of course!

This retreat is designed as both a photography experience and a vacation. While you’ll walk away with stunning images from group and private sessions, there will also be plenty of time to relax. Whether you want to hike, take a buffalo tour, or unwind in the hot tub with a book, the choice is yours. All you need to do is book your flight to Calgary—everything else is taken care of. Come create, explore, and recharge with us in one of the most beautiful places on Earth!

Simply contact Ciara at booking@themodeladventurer.com or Riley at rileyjademodel@gmail.com and we will be happy to answer any questions and send a deposit invoice to secure your spot!

When you are ready, an invoice will be sent to you for the deposit of $1000 CAD. This is fully refundable if notice of cancellation is given prior to April 2nd, 2026. Full payment is required by May 2nd, 2026. If you have to cancel after April 2nd, the deposit is kept. If cancellation is made after May 2nd, full payment is kept unless we are able to find a replacement, in which case you will be refunded the payment excluding the deposit. Payment plans are available upon discussion.
