A RECREATION OF A CANADIAN TV SHOW, BUT WITH A MODERN TWIST.

Naked in the House is a competition centred on creating the most compelling image in an unexpected environment. This challenge tests your spontaneity—how well can you work without preparation or post-editing, capturing a raw and authentic moment? The experience itself is rewarding: at worst, you challenge yourself and walk away with unique images of a location never before used for a photoshoot. At best, you could win $500!

You have one hour to capture the best nude photograph. The timer begins when you first arrive at the location and shake hands with the surprise model, whom I guarantee most haven't worked with before (though I have).

Within this hour, you are limited to using only your camera and tripod—whether digital or film. You may utilize existing lighting in the space - natural or otherwise. Feel free to incorporate blankets, furniture, or other found objects within the environment, there may be some item restrictions which will be communicated before the timer is set.

The model's limits are glamour and art nude posing. If you produce your best shot in the first five minutes, no additional wardrobe or concept changes will be provided—this hour is dedicated solely to nude work. At the end of the session, all photographs must be copied directly onto my laptop to ensure that the no editing rule is maintained. Afterward, you will select the image you'd like to submit to the competition. I will submit the file with the same name. Rest assured, these images are for competition purposes only—nothing will be used beyond this event and all files will be deleted afterward. You are welcome to use any images taken at the event for non-commercial purposes after the voting session.

The winner will be determined by the participants of the event. Every participant will review the competing images and have two votes to hand out to any image(s) that are not their own. The host and the model will also each have two votes to place.

How to Apply

The cost of this event is $175 for the hour. Please click the sign up button to pick a time slot - if given 7 days notice, you can change your time or get a full refund. Taken time slots will be removed from the calendar.
